IFPC Marine has been installing interior decking on ships from the firm's inception in 1993. Vessels include submarines, aircraft carriers, cruise liners, ferry boats, tugboats, barges, and private yachts. The company has held an IDIQ contract with the U.S. military for 15 years, installing teak decks and carpet, as well as providing protective coatings for refrigerator and insulation boxes.
IFPC Marine installed a custom tufted carpet as well as lightweight granite for the interior of this private yacht.
Within four (4) months, IFPC Marine participated in the overhaul of the Ohio-class ballistic missile submarine. IFPC Marine provided complete services for the interior decking that included vinyl composition tile (VCT) to meet the needs of the 155 Sailors living and working aboard the sub.
High Speed Vessel (HSV) Chucatowa is a hybrid catamaran originally purchased by the U.S. Navy and was transferred to private use for the Military Sealift Command. Primarily used for fleet support and humanitarian partnership missions, the vessel deploys eleven months per year, allowing for quick turnarounds for maintenance when back in port. IFPC Marine replaced the marine-grade, nonflammable interior decking (epoxy and carpet) on this ship within ten (10) days to accommodate the reduced crews, increasing environmental comfort.
