Case Studies for IFPC, Inc. Land
Cavalier Hotel Renovation
IFPC, Inc. had the privilege to work with the developer, Cavalier Associates LLC, which included Bruce Thompson, owner of Gold Key/PHR, and contractor WM Jordan on the $81 million renovations of this historic landmark in Virginia Beach. We were responsible for all the guest room bathrooms, common area restrooms, quarry tile restoration on the lanai of the Becca room, flooring in the Hunt Room, the plunge pool deck tile, and epoxy flooring & wall coatings in the Tarnished Truth Distilling Company. We also installed all the flooring & tile in SeaHill Spa. This was an amazing project to be a part of. It was an honor to help breathe new life into this landmark while preserving its historical integrity.
Waterside - Norfolk
The Waterside District was developed by The Cordish Company in 2015. The Cordish Company partnered with the City of Norfolk, BCT Architects & Jeffrey Beers International to perform a $40 million overhaul to the iconic Waterside District. IFPC, Inc. was hired by Buffalo Construction to install all epoxy flooring and install the unique tile on all the bar fronts, restrooms, and flooring in various restaurants. We also installed all the brick veneer in the Market area, all of the outside bar fronts, and the entire Stripers Restaurant and The Blue Moon Tavern Restaurant. This was a huge project with a lot of moving parts and a short production window, we exceeded all of The Cordish Company and Buffalo's expectations. This was a fun, fast-paced project that challenged our project manager, her superintendents, and installers, but, all rose to the occasion and produced beautiful work.
Norfolk Naval Operations Base, Norfolk, VA

Our technicians upheld the detailed, precise, and strict standards of Rehabilitating Historic Structures, given by the Secretary of the Interior.
We installed Duraflex Quartz floors in the offices and Duraflex shop floor with armor top in the bays along with the safety yellow lines. This building was located in Ft. Eustis and was built in 1953, each bay area was its own individual slab of concrete. We installed for JW Clark, this was a great project, our customer and the government are very happy with the final product.
